Debt Payoff Planner

Enter your debts and how much extra you can put toward them each month. We'll show you the smartest order to pay them off, how fast you'll be debt-free, and how much interest you'll save — no consolidating, no touching your home.

Why a mortgage company built this

You'd expect a lender to tell you to borrow against your house. We're telling you the opposite: your home's equity is the last thing you should touch. Most people can clear their debt faster than they think — with the right payoff order and a little extra each month, and no new loan at all. That's what this planner is for. Keep your equity where it is. And if you ever want a straight answer on whether consolidating would actually beat your own plan, we'll run your real numbers both ways — including when the honest answer is "don't."

Your Debts

List each debt with its balance, interest rate, and minimum payment. Then add any extra you can put toward debt each month, and try both strategies to see which fits you.

Your Plan

Wondering if consolidating could beat this?

Sometimes rolling high-rate debt into one lower payment genuinely wins — and sometimes it just moves the risk onto your home. We'll run your real numbers both ways and tell you honestly which is better for you, including when the answer is "don't." No cost, no obligation.

Common Questions

Avalanche or snowball — which should I use?
Avalanche (highest interest rate first) saves you the most money, because you're killing your most expensive debt first. Snowball (smallest balance first) clears whole debts faster, which keeps a lot of people motivated. Both get you to zero — the best one is the one you'll actually stick with.

Should I use my home equity to pay off credit cards?
Sometimes the math genuinely wins — but consolidating turns unsecured debt into debt secured by your home. In Florida, that means giving up the homestead protection that keeps a credit-card creditor away from your house. Only consider it when the terms are dramatically better and you've solved whatever created the debt. It's worth a real analysis before you decide — that's what we're here for.

Is this financial advice?
No — it's a free planning tool to help you see your options. Your situation is unique, so for a personalized look (or a second opinion on a consolidation offer), give us a call.

Educational tool for general planning only — not financial, legal, or tax advice, and not a loan offer or commitment to lend. Results assume the balances, rates, and minimum payments you enter stay fixed and that you consistently apply the extra amount; actual credit-card minimums typically decline as balances fall, and rates can change. Your results will vary. Capital Partners Mortgage Services, LLC · NMLS #2332376 · nmlsconsumeraccess.org · Equal Housing Opportunity.
